Melanie has over 15 years of emergency and critical care nursing experience and received a Masters of Science in Nursing from George Mason University in 2007. She currently works as a geriatric nurse practitioner for the Memory Disorders Program at Georgetown University and serves as sub-investigator in clinical trials of potential new treatments for Alzheimer’s disease. In addition, Melanie serves as a clinician in the Memory Disorders Program through the department of Neurology at Medstar Georgetown Hospital specializing in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with dementia and related disorders.
