Rockville, MD – Ingleside at King Farm, a progressive, not-for-profit life plan community in the Washington, D.C. metro area, is pleased to announce that it has been honored for the second consecutive year, as one of Newsweek’s “America’s Best Continuing Care Communities” for 2025.
In partnership with global research firm Statista, Newsweek conducted surveys and developed a ranking of the 300 best continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs), long-term options for residents typically aged 55 and older who can transition from independent living into higher levels of care, including assisted living, skilled nursing care or memory care, all at the same campus.
“Our community is thrilled to achieve this honor from Newsweek for the second consecutive year,” said Kenya Bryant, executive director of Ingleside at King Farm. “Our valuable staff members are what makes Ingleside at King Farm a special place driven by a mission to deliver outstanding resident experiences, and we share this honor with all of them.”
The prestigious list was compiled through national online surveys, which measured continuing care communities’ quality in areas like safety measures, staffing, and community services. Accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), which Ingleside at King Farm proudly holds, was also a significant factor in the rankings.
This is the second recent national recognition for Ingleside at King Farm. Earlier this month, the community received the “Best Nursing Homes” designation by U.S. News & World Report for 2025.
