Rockville, Md. – Ingleside, a premier not-for-profit provider of comprehensive older adult services in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, is pleased to announce that two of their communities have received the “Best Nursing Homes” designation by U.S. News & World Report for 2023-24.
Both Ingleside at Rock Creek in Washington, D.C. and Ingleside at King Farm in Rockville, Maryland received the highest possible “High Performing” rating on U.S. News’s national rankings, which were released this week. Out of more than 15,000 nursing homes surveyed nationwide, only 19% of skilled nursing homes received this widely respected rating.
“We’re honored to once again receive this recognition by U.S. News, which is a testament to the effort and dedication of Ingleside’s care teams in serving our residents,” said Ingleside Chief Operating Officer Christine L. Podles. “All of us at Ingleside – staff, residents, and families – help make Ingleside communities among the best for care in the metro D.C. region.”
The Best Nursing Homes ratings are based on U.S. News’s in-depth analysis of publicly available data, including information that is not factored into the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) star ratings. For 14 years, these ratings have been considered nationally- recognized symbols of excellence awarded by an unbiased third party.
