ROCKVILLE, MD – Ingleside, a premier, charitable not-for-profit provider of comprehensive older adult opportunities in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, announced they have been certified as a Great Place to Work® for the third year.
The certification process surveyed nearly 80 percent of employees at Ingleside and evaluated their experiences as team members. Great Place to Work put a strong focus on employees’ pride in the organization’s community impact, belief that their work makes a difference, and feeling their work has special meaning.
“We are honored to be certified as a Great Place to Work again. This certification reflects our values of our dedicated staff who work hard to make our life plan communities a welcoming home for so many,” said Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Compliance Sam Albanese.
To earn this certification, Ingleside and its communities (Ingleside at Rock Creek, Westminster at Lake Ridge, Ingleside at King Farm), and affiliates (Westminster Ingleside Foundation and Ingleside at Home) have exemplified a positive work environment, commitment to creating a safe place to work, and recognized its welcoming, unique, and caring work environment.
In addition to being certified a Great Place to Work, Ingleside offers an Employee Scholarship Endowment Fund which recipients can use for supplemental eligible expenses including tuition, conferences and seminars, book and course materials, initial licensure, certification testing and U.S. Citizenship application expenses.
