ROCKVILLE, Md. – Ingleside communities, Ingleside at King Farm in Rockville, MD, Westminster at Lake Ridge in Lake Ridge, VA, and Ingleside at Rock Creek in Washington, DC are recognized for long-term care and short-term rehabilitation services in U.S. News & World Report’s Best Nursing Homes 2019-20.
“We are so proud that our three communities are included again as one of the top nursing homes,” said Christine L. Podles, Ingleside Chief Operating Officer. “We strive for the highest level of care by offering diverse and enriched opportunities for our residents and clients.”
Based on U.S. News & World Report’s ratings, Ingleside at Rock Creek and Ingleside at King Farm received a high performing rating for both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. Westminster at Lake Ridge was high performing for short-term rehabilitation.
U.S. News & World Report rated over 15,000 nursing homes and assigned each eligible nursing home a rating from high performing to poor. The data used for the evaluation comes from the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Nursing homes were assessed based on their abilities to care for people in need of daily assistance with medical and nonmedical needs and on their capabilities to attend to those who need skilled nursing or rehabilitation services following a hospitalization. The evaluation includes metrics of nursing staffing, patient outcome, and rehabilitation therapy.
Ingleside is dedicated to maintaining an enhanced purposeful lifestyle for older adults with on-site health services, and many diverse and progressive programs, including art in the community and wellness activities. All communities share a tradition of common values, focused on accountability, respect, innovation, stewardship, and excellence.
