Compassionate Long-Term Nursing Care

For residents who require medical or cognitive support, or assistance with activities of daily living beyond what assisted living provides, Ingleside offers long-term skilled nursing services at its three communities: Ingleside at Rock Creek, Westminster at Lake Ridge and Ingleside at King Farm.

Our compassionate and experienced staff include registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants, who form a highly skilled nursing team. Our full range of outstanding health services is complemented by an inclusive social atmosphere that inspires personal growth and meaningful relationships.

Short-Term
Rehabilitation Services

Ingleside offers short-term rehabilitation services to help restore your maximum level of functioning after surgery, illness or hospitalization from an unexpected medical issue. With advanced capabilities, knowledge and state-of-the-art technology, our rehabilitation services are designed to get you back to your life as soon as possible.

Our professional therapists help you achieve and maintain maximal function and self-reliance, prevent injury or disability, and promote good health. Our team collaborates with physicians, nursing, dietitians and other professionals to provide the latest in comprehensive, integrated health care.

Ingleside at Rock Creek and Westminster at Lake Ridge also accept direct admissions from the hospital for nonresidents. If you or a loved one are planning an elective surgery or are about to be discharged from the hospital, inform your social worker or discharge planner of your preference for Ingleside’s rehabilitation services.

 

Rehabilitation services include

Physical
therapy

Prevent onset or slow progression of conditions resulting from injury, disease or physical trauma. Treatment can increase mobility, range of motion and strength; improve endurance; enhance coordination and balance; and help manage pain. Our therapists also provide orthotic fitting of the lower extremities and consult on appropriate footwear.

Occupational
therapy

Help increase endurance, improve range of motion and restore independence in activities of daily living, such as mobility, bathing, dressing, cooking and eating. Our therapists provide services for proper wheelchair seating and in-home safety assessments.

Speech-language
therapy

Improve and maintain cognitive communication skills, including speaking, orientation, memory, attention, problem-solving, reasoning, judgment, safety awareness and executive function, such as planning. Our therapists also address respiratory support for speech, auditory comprehension, and oral motor strengthening for eating and swallowing, and provide treatment for voice quality and articulation.

Short-term rehabilitation services are offered at Ingleside at Rock Creek, Ingleside at King Farm and Westminster at Lake Ridge.
