Rockville, Md. – Ingleside, a premier not-for-profit provider of comprehensive older adult services in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, is excited to announce that Dr. Robyn Stone, DrPH, MPA, has been honored as one of the most prolific industry leaders as she joins the inaugural class honored with a McKnight’s Pinnacle Award.
“From her appearances testifying before congress about health care reform, to her international work advising governments across the world about how to improve services for their own senior populations, Dr. Stone has been an unstoppable force for progressing the way we take care of older adults in our communities,” said Ingleside CEO and President Lynn O’Connor. “For nearly 50 years, Dr. Stone has been a revolutionary leader and mentor to countless peers with her research, policy development, and advocacy on behalf of older adults.”
Dr. Stone has specifically been named among the Industry Ally Award Honorees, in recognition of her tireless work developing better policy and commitment to improving the delivery of affordable services and supports to older adults. Along with her leadership role on the Ingleside Boards of Directors, Dr. Stone also serves as the Senior Vice President for Research, LeadingAge, and Co-Director at the LTSS Center at University of Massachusetts.

Dr. Stone and her colleagues will be honored at a March 7, 2023, gala awards ceremony in Chicago with friends and family in attendance. The McKnight’s Pinnacle Awards recognize industry veterans with at least 20 years of experience in their chosen field. The program is a joint effort of McKnight’s Long-Term Care News and sister media brands McKnight’s Senior Living and McKnight’s Home Care.
