THIS EVENT IS PRESENTED BY THE ALZHEIMER’S ASSOCIATION

Join Ingleside for this in-person event, which will provide tips for breaking the ice with your family so you can address some of the most common issues that are difficult to discuss: going to the doctor for a diagnosis or medical treatment, deciding when to stop driving, and making legal and financial plans for future care.

This event will be held at 1615-A Piccard Drive, Rockville, MD 20850.

Sheila Griffith has worked at the Alzheimer’s Association, National Capital Area Chapter as the Program Manager in Montgomery County, Maryland, and Washington DC since 2018. She provides education and outreach through the delivery of programs about Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementia, and coordinates services, such as Caregiver Support groups and Memory Cafe groups for those living with Alzheimer’s Disease. Sheila is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in Maryland, and her background is in long-term care and senior housing, such as skilled nursing care, assisted living, and group homes.
